Thai Partner Yoga Massage Workshop
Presented by Jen Block
Date: October 6, 2018 7:30-9:30pm
Join us for a fun filled night of deepening your yoga practice with the ancient art of Thai massage blended with partner yoga! Bring a friend or make a new one! Leave your yoga mat at home, wear comfortable clothes and bring your own blanket and a pillow (or zafu).
Thai massage is an ancient healing art, combined with partner yoga stretches that will help you deeply relax and re-connect. It is a meditative practice for both partners, reflecting the states of loving kindness and compassion. It helps to tone and strengthen, as well as, stretch and revitalize the body – all the while, balancing the mind. The practice of Thai massage and yoga both encourage the unrestricted flow of “Prana” or “life energy” by opening the energy pathways called “sen lines” or “meridians”. When this flow of energy is blocked or disrupted, a state of disharmony or dis-ease occurs. This workshop will offer a basic and fun introductory understanding of the practice, working harmoniously together as one.
We look forward to meeting you!
